Five Years

I got tired of sitting on the sidelines leaving fabulous, interesting, educational comments on the blogs of others.
Five years ago this date in Destin, Florida I poked around "Blogger" and figured out how to insure everyone who stopped by "Pitchpull" got the benefit of my opinion.
Five years and still pluggin'.
I've made some amazing friends along the way... and have actually met a few of 'em.

Neat stuff.

Wow! That's a goodly amount of time, my friend, and I can honestly say I've benefitted from getting to know you.

Here's to another five years - at the very least!

Five years go quick!
I only look at two sites; chopper chick and you. Coincidence you both haul "Ass&Trash" in your Slicks.
Have you started your collection of short stories? I'd buy the book, even stand in line at Borders to have you sign it.
I'd like to have a blog but the majority of what I do (film) involves me signing lengthy and strange contracts that restrict what I say. Regarding strange...
The Artist formerly known as Prince had a contract that started something like this- "If the Artist formerly known as Prince does not like your attire, you may be fired."
I got a kick after reading and signing that one because as I finished crossing the T's & doting the I's Prince came on set dressed like an organ-grinder monkey.
Oh I do enjoy the circus.
Good that your out there GB.

That's as long as my second stint at Crane! That five years has gone by awfully fast for me. Just wish time would slow down just a bit.

Pick up my cousin from the nursing home, took her to Mom's for pizza, then watched a little TV. When I was signing her back in, I noticed a barely-touched tray of "food" sitting on the nurses station counter.

Honest to God...it was gruel! I could recognize bean salad, but there was something that looked like dog barf on a hot dog bun. I think it was ham salad, but I can't be sure. And that was the meal. Gruel on a bun and bean salad. You call that a well-balanced meal for anyone?

So that's one reason I wish for time to slow down. I don't want to be in that joint for a very long time. No, I take that back. Please God take me before I get stuck in a place like that.

I'm rambling again...

Congratulations, my brother!

Five years goes by quick.

Mine will be in June. Can't believe I'm on that list of some you've met - the pleasure was mine, I tell ya!

Time does fly when you are having fun.
You have been a wealth of information for me. Many thanks.
When you retire, I think writing for profit might be a great second career for you.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy flying over here and getting caught up on your astute and incisive observations about a myriad collection of topics. A plethora of punditry by the Pitchpull!

In plain English, "Congratulations!" Here's to at least five more years of entertaining reading here at the colorful cornucopia.
